The 2022 Royer Witzel & Wind comes from our new mixed clonal block containing 7 heritage clones planted on 7 rootstocks. Made in the "Black Chardonnay" method this wine carries a weight and complexity reminiscent of better white burgundies - I dare not say Grand Cru - I will leave that to you. Nose of white orchard fruit, grapefruit, and acacia blossom. Rich mid-palate showing essence of apricots, mint, minerals and flowers.
